former owner of Creative Dance Studio in Slidell. Over the past few years, she has been a dance consultant for several studios in the Greater New Orleans area. She has had choreographed many award winning routines for competitive teams across Louisiana. She has also choreographed for school plays,
variety shows, Mardi Gras balls and other events. Her choreography and productions are recognized for their creativity and unique style. Heather has an amazing way of connecting with each of her students to share a love of dance.
Her main goal as an instructor is to help her students grow not just as dancers, but in their every day life.
Madelyn Paternostro began dance at the age of two and is still continuing to grow and learn as a dancer and teacher. She is a former Southeastern Louisiana University Lionette and placed in the top five at UDA College Nationals 2016 & 2017 in both jazz and hip hop. She has done competitive dance most of her life and has been awarded multiple scholarships and titles for dance. She has traveled across the country from Los Angeles to New York competing and studying dance. She has performed in multiple Debbie Allen productions including Brothers of the Knight and Dreams. She has also danced in Baton Rouge Ballet Theater’s “The Nutcracker – A Tale from the Bayou.” In 2013 she performed as Beyoncé’s back up dancer in the Super Bowl XLVII. She is the head coach for Walker High School’s Golden Wildcats dance team. Madelyn choreographs for multiple schools including Walker High School, Northlake Christian School, Ponchatoula High School, and Fountainbleu High School. Dance has always been a passion for Madelyn, and she loves seeing that passion transfer to her students
